Child Safety Standards for Kokonyo

At Kokonyo, the safety of children is our utmost priority. We are committed to creating a safe and positive environment for all users, and we have implemented the following standards to prevent and address child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE).

User Verification

We employ the following methods to verify the age of our users:

• Users are required to provide their date of birth during registration and the system auto calculates the age; those above 18 are the only ones allowed to register.
• Kokonyo Moderators also go through a process of verifying application registration profiles; Incase step one is mitigated.

Content Moderation

We actively moderate user-generated content to identify and remove CSAE. Our moderation process includes:

• A dedicated team of human moderators that reviews profiles biodata content before approval
• A dedicated team of human moderators that reviews flagged content.

Reporting Mechanisms

We provide clear and accessible reporting mechanisms for users to report instances of CSAE or suspicious activity:

• A 'Report' button is prominently displayed on user profiles and content.
• Users can contact us directly via email.

Law Enforcement Cooperation

We fully cooperate with law enforcement agencies in investigations involving CSAE. We will promptly report any instances of suspected CSAE to the appropriate authorities.

Prevention Measures

We take the following proactive measures to prevent CSAE:

• User education materials on online safety are provided upon first time app use and before registration.
• We regularly review and update our safety policies and procedures.
